Points to consider
- A Civil Marriage is a Public Ceremony and it is a legal requirement that any member of the public who wishes to attend the marriage may do so.
- The bride and groom must agree the content of the Ceremony with the Sperintendant Registrar in advance. Any music, reading, words or performance forming any part of the Ceremony must be secular.
- Music may be allowed in the Marriage Room (with the Superintendant Registrar's consent). The hotel would be pleased to help arrange live music such as a string quartet or harpist if desired.
